Cyber Surfer, by Reymar Enteria. Last updated October 18, 2026.

The short version

You don't need an account to play. The game gives you an anonymous player id so the leaderboard and your cloud save work. We don't sell data. The app versions show ads from Google AdMob, which may use your advertising identifier only if you allow tracking. You can delete everything we store about you from the Leaderboard screen.

What we store on our server

DataWhy
A random player id and a hashed device keyTo recognize your device and keep your progress
The nickname shown on the leaderboard (a generated one unless you change it)Leaderboard
Your runs: score, distance, time, platformLeaderboards and cheat checks
Your cloud save: best score, coins, garage items, sound/vibration settingsKeep progress across your devices
If you sign in with Google (optional, where offered): Google's account id only, never your emailRestore your player on a new device

The server is hosted by Vercel and the database by Neon. Your device also keeps your player id in its own storage (and, on iPhone and Android, in the system's backup so a reinstall can restore it).

Ads (iOS and Android apps)

The apps show ads from Google AdMob: one after a run, and an optional video to continue a run. On iPhone you are asked whether apps may track you; if you say no, ads are not personalized. In regions where it's required, you get a consent form and can change your choice any time from the privacy button in the game. AdMob's own data use is described in Google's policy.

Ads and cookies (website)

The website at cybersurfer.app may show ads from Google AdSense: one after a run, and an optional ad to continue a run. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. In regions where it's required, the website asks for your consent before ads use cookies. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. The game itself keeps your progress and settings in your browser's local storage.

YouTube Playables

Played on YouTube, the game talks only to YouTube: progress is saved through YouTube, ads come from YouTube, and none of the data above is sent to our server.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

Deleting your data

Open Leaderboard in the game and choose Delete my data. That removes your player, nickname, scores, runs, cloud save and any linked sign-in from our server at once, and the game on that device starts over as a new guest. You can also email the address below and we'll delete it for you.
